About CanInspire is made up of two entities, CanBead and CanTackle. Primarily to support, empower and bring joy to those suffering loss, trauma and illness. Story CanBead is a not-for-profit registered charity based in Canterbury, NZ. We are part of The CanInpsire Charitable Trust. We provide jewellery making classes and materials to individuals experiencing illness, trauma or personal loss. Although our primary focus is on working with cancer patients, we have also provided jewellery therapy for young people in foster care, children experiencing trauma after the Christchurch earthquake and solo parents. We welcome any offers of assistance or donations related to our work, in particular monetary donations or donations of beads or other jewellery which could be recycled into our CanBead Kits. Assistance also welcome from those wishing to volunteer their time as jewellery making instructors or to help assemble the bead kits. See our website (currently under development) for more.
