About Good Sports provides after school and holiday sports coaching programmes aimed at getting kids of all abilities active & involved in sports. Story Good Sports, which began operating in early 2015, is run by husband and wife team, Tom and Louise Merrall. We are both teachers who are passionate about the outdoors and living an active, balanced lifestyle. Good Sports grew out of a realisation that there was a lack of an out of school programme focussed on general sports. We are strong believers in the need for children to be outdoors and active in a safe and fun environment. Our philosophy at Good Sports is to encourage children to be active and to be "good sports" - to celebrate not only their own success but that of others by developing team work skills and a team mentality. As such our aim is to encourage children to be active, enjoy fitness and to become rounded individuals.
