Story
I'm a Sling and Carrier Consultant, trained with Slingababy, Trageschule UK & L'Ecole a Porter (JPMBB).

Considering buying a carrier or sling? There's many options on the market but not much info about the pros & cons of different styles. Not all carriers are created equal. I help you understand what to look for in a comfy carrier for parents & babies, & I have a wide range for you to try before you buy. Removes the uncertainty!

Already got a sling but it's hard to use, or not comfy? Or your sling allows back carries but you're unsure how to do it? I help you get the best from your sling, also giving tips & tricks so that you & your child get maximum benefit & enjoyment from your purchase.

Rates:
One-to-one consultations (at my home in Halswell or at your home - see this map for travel fee info https://goo.gl/XjLIQe.)

Full consultation (approx 2 hours) $55 including one sling hire for a week (1 extra person with the same requirements: $30). Discount for pre-term babies & newborns in or recently discharged from local NICU: Full consultation for the price of a Mini consultation.

Intensive mini consultation (1 hour) $35 including one sling hire for a week. This is a session for only 1 family at a time.

Introduction to baby slings & carriers workshop (group) $25 per family (3-8 families). Up to 2 hours in duration for 3-4 families; up to 2.5 hours duration for 5-8 families.

Consultation clients have the opportunity to hire slings/carriers from my library at the rate of $5 per week.

Skype demonstrations: $30 for up to an hour. There are some limitations to the teaching I can do via Skype, but you will receive consultant-level information & demonstrations of techniques. My fibre internet connection means you receive the best-quality video possible for your connection).

Sling hire $10 per week or $20 per fortnight, + returnable deposit.

Sling library only (no consultation): 10 minutes demonstration. Free if you come to my home; $10 if I deliver to yours. Individual responsible for sling return.
