About Beaconsfield School is a fantastic school of about 110 children settled in some amazing countryside just 10 minutes out of Timaru. Story Beaconsfield School is a rural school which is only 15 minutes from centre of Timaru. We have 115 students across our 5 classrooms. We have 3 bus runs which collect children from a wide rural area and the city of Timaru. Beaconsfield School has large landscaped grounds, two adventure playgrounds and a solar-heated swimming pool. Other facilities include: a learning centre (library), resource room, multipurpose building/ hall. We see our job as to inspire and teach the children through relevant and reflective programmes that include sport, the arts and the community.
