About HIPPY stands for Home Interaction Programme for Parents and Youngsters. It's an international pre-school education programme brought to Taupo in 2013, extended to Turangi in late 2017, for parents to partake in with their pre-school child, and is free. Story For 21 years Great Potentials has worked to help children, young people and families to flourish, and are now recognized as one of New Zealand’s leading agencies of social enterprise and innovation....creating the Family Service Centre model and introducing HIPPY to New Zealand.
