Daily Living Aids and Equipment We provide the widest range of assistive equipment and aids for daily living, hire or purchase, as well as servicing of mobility scooters. Our staff, including occupational therapists, have a wide knowledge of health and disability so that they genuinely understand your needs Equipment Servicing If you have recently purchased a mobility scooter or power chair, you may be wondering how to keep it in pristine condition. Servicing ensures that your vehicle is functioning as it should be and keeping you safe. Servicing also involves grooming your vehicle so it looks as new. Within six months of purchasing your mobility scooter or power chair, it will need to be serviced. At Life Unlimited we offer your first servicing for half price. If you think your vehicle is due to be serviced, visit your local Life Unlimited Store. Just make an appointment and we will handle the rest. Mobile Service Who Are We? Life Unlimited Mobile Service is a unique service making it easy for you to access information and equipment in your local community. Where Do We Go? The Life Unlimited Store Mobile Service operates across Waikato, the Lake District, Bay of Plenty and Hauraki Plains taking information and assistive products into small town, rural and coastal Waikato. The Mobile Service offers a fresh, contemporary approach to making information and equipment more accessible to all. What We Do? Life Unlimited offers a unique guest speaker experience for community group meetings and disability support groups of all ages Simple and practical ways to help you stay independent and to help make daily living easier Demonstrations of products, assistive devices and their benefits to help you continue to do what you have always done Up to date information and resources to help yo access support groups and health services in your area Product Range The mobile service offers 200 small assistive products and some larger bathroom products Larger equipment includes walkers, wheelchairs and a mobility scooter Gift items may be added to the mobile van during seasonal periods All products are available for purchase on the day by cash, cheque, eftpos or credit card Presentations The mobile store offers presentations to any community groups, health organisations, retirement villages, service clubs and charities. If your group or organisation is interested in having a presentation, contact the Waikato Mobile Service. Included is a FREE walking stick and walker height and safety checks.
