…and the chance to perform at the 2012 Devonport Food & Wine Festival next February and at The Vic Unplugged in November for the winners.

TO ENTER:  Upload your video submission on YouTube and email the link, together with your contact details and age to: shoretalentquest@gmail.com by 23rd October 2011 to be in with a chance to perform at the Shore Talent Quest Heats on 6th November, and the Gala Final night on 12th November 2011.  You must send your link from your personal email, not directly from youtube, otherwise we cannot reply.

The Rotary Club of Devonport, in conjunction with The Victoria Picture Palace & Theatre, Devonport, is producing this exciting new talent quest:  Shore Talent Quest – Live @ The Vic.  Tickets prices are $10 for the Heats and $25 for the Finals and are available from the Vic.

This is an opportunity to display your talent on stage in front of a live audience for a cash prize.

There are three categories:  a) 5 – 13 years (Primary and Intermediate), b) 13 – 18 years (Secondary), and c) Adult.

All stagecraft such as Music, Dance, Comedy, Acrobatics etc. will be considered.

The Shore Talent Quest is raising funds for stage two of the Victoria Theatre Trust’s Restoration Fund.  The theatre is the oldest cinema in the Southern Hemisphere, and one of the aims of the Trust is to provide a live venue for performing arts.
