About Arboricultural Contractors Story Since 1990 Arbor Care has been committed to providing a range of safe, cost effective tree services. From tree felling to stump grinding, planting, line clearing and landscaping the team at Arbor Care has the best equipment and experience to get the job done. Established in 1990, a young John Meehan armed with a chainsaw started a small tree service business. Today Arbor Care is still managed by John and the company employs up to 20 arborists and staff. They run a fleet of over 25 trucks and chippers and have customers ranging from councils, developers, landscapers, and private individuals from around New Zealand. Our Staff are among the highest qualified arborists around and take great pride in all their work.
