Story

Obesity:
Obesity has taken a grip on our society, with over-eating and unhealthy diets; this plague has gone through the world like a virus. Obesity increases the risks of the sufferer catching many diseases, and raises the risk of developing cancer. Adults with a body mass index (BMI) over 30 are classified as obese and different measures are used for children and adolescence.
Diabetes:
Diabetes is a chronic condition where the sufferer’s sugar levels are far beyond safe levels. In sufferers, the pancreas - that normally controls blood sugar levels - is unable to regulate the insulin levels in the body, or there is a problem with how the cells respond to the insulin. Diabetes can either be inherited (from birth) or caught (from unhealthy habits).
Parasites:
Many bacteria in the body contribute to the body in healthy ways, although some leech off the body’s nourishment and, as a result, drain the body of its energy, leading to health problems and, in some cases, death. Parasites can be kept at bay simply through good hygiene and regular intestinal cleansing.
