About Based in Kamo, Whangarei, we practice the Chang Hon style, as created by the Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi (1918 – 2002). Story At IL Kyuk Pilsal Hurupaki ITF Taekwon-Do we practice the Chang Hon style of Taekwon-Do as created by General Choi Hong Hi (1918 – 2002). We follow his teachings, which he gifted to the whole world in the Taekwon-Do Encyclopedia. If you are looking to improve your fitness, flexibility, confidence, and learn a powerful Self Defense Martial Art in a friendly, safe and fun environment, then come along and give Taekwon-Do a try. IL Kyuk Pilsal Hurupaki is about the whole art of Taekwon-Do and not tournament orientated. The general Taekwon-do classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 18.00 to 19.30 for all ages and abilities from 8 years old upwards.
