About Welcome to New Plymouth Clothes Swap! They take place twice a year. Entry is $5 & a bag of good condition clothes to swap. Story This is a not-for-profit community driven event, with a reuse/reduce/recycle philosophy. It's a chance to bring people together and create a place where those clothes you just aren't wearing can be given new life! We are a group of friends in New Plymouth that volunteer our time to organise and run these events twice a year. We're having fun and creating an event that can benefit others too! HOW DOES IT WORK? You bring $5 (cash only) and a bag of clothes (or more if you like!) in good condition (no stains, holes etc). It can be mens, womens, childrens, accessories, shoes, maternity, active wear etc. You pay at the door and hand over your clothes which get sorted by our fabulous volunteers and put out for other swappers. You'll get a stamp on arrival and you can come and go anytime between 11am - 1pm. There is no limit to the amount you take, we just ask that you be respectful to other swappers - this is a friendly community event. All leftover clothes are donated. Any questions? Just ask!
