About Playcentres are parent-led early childhood centres which offer high quality education for children in small mixed-age groups. Story Playcentre welcomes all families with children from newborn to 6 years of age. Playcentres also offer free parenting and early childhood education for parent members. Playcentre is a family organisation where: • we empower adults and children to work, play, learn and grow together • we honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and celebrate people's uniqueness • we value and affirm parents as the first and best educators of their children so that whānau are strengthened and communities enriched. Taradale Playcentre runs sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 09:00-12:00pm. Feel free to pop in for a visit. This will give you a good opportunity to get to know what happens on the sessions and talk to other families. If you think Playcentre is for you, we will help you through the joining process from there. Families can contribute a termly donation of $25 to help maintain our resources and equipment.
