About OUR VISION To reduce violence within the community and improve outcomes for vulnerable children and their Whanau. Story WE OFFER: COUNSELLING Child counselling, family sessions, individual counselling and relationship counselling. TRAUMA & ABUSE SUPPORT/COUNSELLING Physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse counselling. Trauma due to life-threatening events such as illness, accidents and/or abuse. Coping with painful, intense feelings, and intrusive thoughts. TE RITO O TE WHĀNAU INSPIRING WHĀNAU, INSPIRING CHANGE A 6 week family-friendly program focusing on building healthy relationships, communication and general life skills. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Working with at risk youth and their whānau this program covers advocacy, court support, healthy relationships, learning problem solving and life skills, and building your self-esteem and self-image. More… TAMARIKI KAHA & RANGATAHI KAHA These programs assist children and youth to recognise and safely express feelings, identify support people in their lives, manage their anger, build self-esteem and confidence and develop coping strategies to address bullying, grief and loss while expressing respect and honesty.
