About Welcome to Rotorua Goal Keeping Academy page... The academy runs school term to school term on Wednesday nights from 6-7.30pm at Neil Hunt Park Rotorua Story Rotorua United in partnership with Andrew Gibbs wants to harness the passion of all up and coming goal keepers. Andrew Gibbs from a young age knew he wanted to be the best keeper there was. Arguably he has developed into that in the greater WaiBop region. So often people believe Goalkeeping is all about shot stopping. But a great goalkeepers never let it get to a shot. Our aim is to create a depth of talent and passion in Rotorua Goal keepers. Long gone are the days of having a rest between the sticks.
