Welcome to the reinstated WAIPA GOLF CLASSIC TOURNAMENT held on the first weekend of February. The tournament format is 36 holes played over two days with the best aggregate stableford scoring system for each division and Gross prizes plus (Daily individual prizes) and a daily Two’s competition.

Entry to our tournament is given to all registered full playing members of NZ golf with official Handicaps. All other participants (International) will be required to give evidence of affiliation to their respective Golf association and provide proof of a current and up to date handicap from their golf club.

The Waipa classic committee is a committee set up under the umbrella of the two host venues. Our dedicated club officials from both clubs would like to welcome everyone attending our event. We have set certain objectives for the quality and success of the tournament and to the organizations that “support” this marvelous event. It is our intentions to put forward an event that all will play and enjoy we hope that you take in the beauty of the Waipa and its people. Visitors I hope will feel treasured and welcomed by the host club members and the Waipa Golf Classic Organizing committee.
