About Strengthening father/child relationships through support, education and fun! Story Vision: Children have fathers who are loving, caring and supportive. Mission Statement: Our mission is to strengthen father and child relationships through support, fun and education Key Focuses: KND Wgtn provide counselling and support to all parents, both fathers and mothers, and family/whanau. By empowering men to become better fathers we aim to have a positive influence on improving family lives, reduce domestic violence and the national suicide rate. KND Wgtn in wanting to help solve problems around domestic violence are investigating offering a full range of services to the Wellington region. They include supervised contact services, a refuge and a crisis information hotline. Importantly it also wants to run a number of educational programs for men including anger management courses.
