About Need to rent a quality Motorhome in NZ? Look no further. We have for rent, a 2016 Auto Trail Imala 720. Story We are based in beautiful Big Manly, one hours drive from Auckland airport. (See below for handover options). To rent our van either contact us for details or use the web page of our agents (either "SHAREaCAMPER" or "Mighway"). You should find both by a Google search. Van details as follows:- Auto Trail Imala 720 (Hi-line). This van is a 6 berth van (but limited to 4 persons only for rentals), brand new in 2016 with low mileage (Registered in New Zealand August 2016). Features include:- TV (Reception may be less reliable in remote areas). Reversing camera Self containment certificate Heating (Gas and 240V) Tom Tom GPS navigation system Microwave oven 4 ring hob (3 gas and 1 electric) Full oven/grill 96ltr Fridge and small freezer compartment Washroom including electric toilet and shower. 135 ltr water capacity 85 ltr waste water 90 ltr diesel 1 x 9Kg gas bottle Automatic transmission (Comfortmatic gearbox which means both Auto and manual can be selected when necessary) Air conditioned drivers cab. Double glazed windows. Pleated flyscreens/blinds to all opening windows. Pleated cab window blinds. Camping table and fold up chairs Bed linen and towels provided. Sleeping is either in the over cab area, behind the front drivers seat, or in the rear of the van where the bed is made up as required. 2 x 75 Amp hour leisure batteries 200W Solar Panel with controller Cruise control Safety features:- Fire retardant upholstery Seat belts for maximum 4 people Electronic Stability Control Flame failure shut off valves to all gas appliances Smoke, CO2 and gas alarms Fire extinguisher Fire Blanket We have 3 options for handover. Option 1 - For guests based in NZ or from overseas, arriving at Auckland airport, we will collect you and complete the handover just outside Auckland airport. $50 fee applies. Option 2 - For guests based in NZ or from overseas, arriving at Auckland airport, we will collect you ($50 charge), and bring you to our home in Big Manly where you can complete the handover and start your holiday. Alternatively stay overnight in our Bed and Breakfast room at our family home (subject to availability). You can then stay overnight in a lovely room and wake refreshed to load the van with your belongings, food etc and start your holiday completely rested. (Suitcases etc can also be left with us to save space in the van). Rates for the B&B can be provided on request. Details of our Bed and Breakfast can be seen on our Facebook page. Link below:- https://www.facebook.com/manlybandb/ Option 3 - For clients arriving by car, we have secure parking at our home where you can leave your vehicle for the duration of your rental (no charge). You can leave immediately or take advantage of our B&B option as mentioned above. Our preferred minimum rental period is 7 days. Renters MUST be non smokers and no pets. We would also appreciate it if our guests could refrain from any cooking which could leave long lasting smells in the van. Other than that we would just ask that the van is returned to us in the same state as it was provided :) Van must be returned with:- Full fuel tank. Full gas bottle. Toilet emptied and clean. Road user charges (RUC) paid based on Km's driven (to be paid in cash on return). All vehicles that run on a fuel that does not have an excise at the pump (eg diesel), or weigh more than 3.5 tonnes, are subject to road user charges (RUC). Current rate is $0.062 per kilometre GST inclusive. So for example, if you drive 1000 km's during your holiday, your RUC charge would be $62. North and South Islands only and we would prefer it if you would only use sealed roads i.e. tarmac and not gravel.
