You and your partner will explore the journey of childbirth and parenting.

Understand the role of your LMC and other maternity professionals

Recognise the signs of labour and preparing to go to hospital

Make confident decisons about your labour and birth, with the help of your family and support people.

Explore all options for birth, natural and complicated.

Understand your newborn, their needs and behaviours.

Attachment parenting, bathing, swaddling, soothing, sleep, feeding issues.

Gain up-to-date, practical information about breastfeeding and infant feeding choices.

Understand the demands and realities of early parenting

Meet other pregnant couples and make great friends. Have fun while preparing for one of the most important steps in your life.

Be confident your facilitator works daily as a midwife in Howick and who also works closely with your LMC's.Has the most up-to-date, researched, experience, and practice  based information.
