My name is Mōrehu and this is my Ta Moko page.   I currently work in Mangere Auckland, where I have my studio.   My studio has been built for Ta Moko, where I have made it a place to feel relaxed and warm. It is not a shop for people to walk in off the street as I only take appointments.   This way my focus is 100% on the person I am working on.

I am thankful to be guided by my mentor Heemi Te Peeti, who keeps me grounded, humble and honoured to allow me to work in Ta Moko.   Through his guidance, I have examined on my work to make sure the quality is always of a high standard.

I take Ta Moko seriously, as I have a high tolerance for Hygiene, cleanness and wellbeing.  You will not just get a Ta Moko, you will be getting a piece of you and your whanau.  Understanding Whakapapa from where Ta Moko comes from through our linage of our ancestors is very important to the process I take.  You will leave my studio with the upmost care and respect, as I do not only believe I am doing a Ta Moko on you, I am doing this for your whanau, hapu and Iwi.
