About Valonia Street Skatepark Story Valonia Street Skatepark is being delivered by the Well Connected Alliance as part of the New Zealand Transport Agency’s Waterview Connection Project, connecting Auckland’s Southwestern (SH20) and Northwestern (SH16) motorways. The 6-lane motorway connection is due to open in 2017 The skatepark is programmed for construction in 2014/2015. When completed the skatepark will be owned and operated by Auckland Council.
