About Little Ferns Childcare is locally owned and operated, catering for all children under 6. Located 28 Shamrock Street, Palmerston North. Story Kia ora, I am Sharon. Owner and founder of Little Ferns Childcare. I am married to Stu Lange and have 3 beautiful girls 17,14 and 9 years old. I enjoy taking photos, and will be using my camera allot at my centre! I have over 10 years of Early Childhood experience, as a teacher on the floor and also the administration. I have my degree in Early Childhood. I believe building and maintaining reciprocal and positive relationships are important with all children and their families/whanau and my teaching team. Being a mother of 3 girls, I have empathy for children, and set out for children to feel safe and secure in their environment, feeling as though they belong and have a place at the centre. Little Ferns caters for all children under the age of 6. We offer 20 hours FREE ECE for 3 years and over. WINZ subsidies will be available also. Little Ferns Childcare provide for families/whānau and their children a friendly, fun, homely environment. We aim to have a shared vision, collective and collaborative relationships with staff, whānau and the community. The centre will provide an environment rich in experiences where nature and natural beauty are respected and valued.
