About Canterbury Hockey Association (Inc.) Story The Canterbury Hockey Association is a non-profit regional sporting organisation with 4000+ registered players. The Canterbury Hockey Association is the peak body responsible for the administration of the sport of hockey in Canterbury. The aims for which the Association is established and maintained are: To offer the widest possible opportunities for all persons to participate in the game of hockey and to make hockey a readily accessible sport and recreation for all. To provide all participants with the opportunity to excel by developing their game to their chosen or actual potential.
