Steve Tucker has operated Papamoa Physiotherapy Clinic since 1987. 
"We take the time to give the quality treatment that you deserve," is their motto.

Story
Papamoa was mainly farmland when my wife and I moved here in 1987. We decided to set up a physiotherapy clinic in Papamoa East as there was no physiotherapy service available to the locals. Our rooms were at 1056 Papamoa Beach Rd and we combined physiotherapy with Papamoa's first gym and called it the 'body shop'.
In 1989 we moved the physiotherapy clinic to 35 Domain Rd, as it was more central to the growing population. Domain Rd was as yet unsealed and for a while the local farmer would use it to walk his dairy cows to the milking shed.
This was not an entirely satisfactory arrangement for the local homes and businesses and soon ceased.
Our 3 children were born and raised here and we all enjoy the beach culture.
In 2003 we shifted the business to 902 Papamoa Beach Rd and had a great deal to do with local sports at the Gordon Spratt Reserve. Steve coached and played soccer and was team physio for mens rugby and league. He was also on the Tahati Coast school board of trustees for many years.
Since 2013, he now works at Palm Springs Medical Centre, 3 Palm Springs Boulevard, Papamoa East. 
He enjoys bodysurfing, scuba diving, wake boarding and snowboarding.
