A very warm welcome to you all. Here you will find a range of information about our wonderful school. Moturoa School is New Plymouth’s best-kept secret.

It is situated 5 minutes west of the city centre, right beside the coast, under Paritutu and next to Ngamotu Beach. Moturoa School is surrounded by beautiful native bush known as Ngamotu Domain. It is adjacent to the bustling Port Of Taranaki. We have a wonderfully rich learning environment right on our back door step.

The school is unique. We are lucky to have a combination of both State and Montessori Education on site. This is one of our exciting features. Families choose our school because of the supportive family atmosphere and because we have low numbers in our classes. Our other special features include our Trees for Survival and Virtues programmes.
