About Wellington Joinery and Kitchens is a locally owned and operated businesses specialising in timber joinery and kitchens. With years of experience behind the team WJK offers a service second to none in the joinery industry. Story The name might be new, but Wellington Joinery and Kitchens has been creating quality wooden joinery since the 1930’s. The company was started by local builder Norm Jepson in a small cottage in Johnsonville. Since the beginning, the company has had a long tradition of passing from master to apprentice. Current owner Phil Schwartfeger joined the business as an apprentice, straight from school, at the end of 2004. After finishing his apprenticeship, Phil worked at Valleys as a qualified joiner until buying the business when Bruce decided to retire, at the beginning of 2017. Under Phil, the business was rebranded as Wellington Joinery and Kitchens with a new website and online presence.
