About We have both Class 1 & 2 Load Pilots available who are experienced, NZTA certified, have a wealth of knowledge and are passionate about what they do. Story Goodwin Piloting Services is owned by Karl Goodwin and has been operating since April 2015. Karl has 25+ years industry experience and is Bridge Engineering Self Supervison (BESS) accredited. He is an NZQA accredited Dogman and Rigger, NZQA accredited Traffic Controller and Level 1 STMS (Site Traffic Management Supervisor). Karl also undertakes Project Management and is Site Safe trained. We have both Class 1 & 2 Load Pilots available who are experienced and NZTA certified. Our staff have a wealth of knowledge in the heavy haulage industry and they are passionate about their work.
