About We are a small family inspired education and childcare centre located in Trentham, Upper Hutt. We cater for children from 3 months to 5 years old. Story Kidlywinks Childcare centre is a small, independent education and care centre located in Trentham, Upper Hutt. Located in a quiet street near Trentham railway station, we can cater for up to 31 children aged from 3 months to 5 years old. Established in a former residential house, Kidlywinks is a family owned and operated centre and as such provides a homely feel. Hours of operation – 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We are open for 52 weeks of the year and only closed on statutory holidays. We offer: 20 free hours for 3 and 4 year olds. Extension programme for 4 year olds which focuses on skills to make the transition to school easier. WINZ subsidies may be available.
