About Conductive Education is a complex and holistic system, with the aim of improving all areas of the child's development, including his or her emotional, social, cognitive, communications and motor skills. Story Conductive Education offers a complex programme, which covers all aspects of a child's development: physical, educational, social, emotional communication and language. It offers a positive life style for children with motor disorders, their families and support networks. History Conductive Education was developed by Professor Andras Peto who established the Peto Institute in Budapest, Hungry. The Peto Institute is internationally famous for its success in educating people with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and other motor disorders. Conductive Education works with the parents to set simple goals to help babies/children achieve successful movement and increased independence. Conductive Education was established in New Zealand in the early 1990's and has 11 centres around New Zealand.
