About Welcome to The Salvation Army Glenfield! We look forward to meeting you either through our church, community ministries or family store activities. Story Welcome to The Salvation Army Glenfield. We are part of the universal Christian Church and our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus. Whether you are new to church, haven’t been for awhile or a fully devoted follower of Jesus, we pray that you will sense something of the love of God here. Counselling, budgeting advice and assistance with food is available from our Community Ministries office onsite, we also manage two family stores in Glenfield and Highbury.
