Story Influenced by the traditional cuisine of India’s central and northern regions, The Kingfisher serves an array of dishes made from rich meats and fresh vegetables. Those dishes are prepared by highly skilled chefs who have an intimate understanding of authentic Indian cooking. “Not all Indian food is meant to be hot”, says Ranjeet. “Spices should be used to complement the other ingredients, not to overpower them, and our staff are always on hand to advise our guests on the best way to enjoy each of our stunning dishes.” Of course, every meal is created from the freshest produce and the finest cuts of meat, without the use of MSG or artificial colouring. Exceptional customer service is something the team at The Kingfisher pride themselves on. “When people dine with us we want them to sit back, relax, and forget about everything else”, says Jasmeet, who is a graduate of India’s prestigious institute of Hotel Management Pusa. The dining experience is enhanced by the décor, which was inspired by traditional Indian palaces. Clay walls, rustic oak chairs and handmade tables crafted from 100-year old timber contribute to the distinctive ambience, with soft, instrumental music helping to set the mood. The Kingfisher is fully-licensed and is perfect for everything from family celebrations and intimate evenings out to meetings and work functions. Kids’ menus and takeaways are also available.
