Wildside Getaway is a secluded 350acre native bush property with mountain views, wildgame and birdlife. A modern self-sufficient eco-lodge provides the perfect getaway for families and groups looking for a New Zealand outdoors experience. The close proximity to Mt Ruapehu together with the large drying room and great log fire  make it  ideal as a base for snow sports.

The lodge is in the heart of adventure country, with snowboarding, skiing, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, tramping, quad biking, canoeing, kayaking and scenic flights in the immediate vicinity.

Guided hunting and fishing, target shooting, clay bird shooting, archery, quad bikes, alternative energy demonstrations and corporate team building are available on request. There is a large projector screen for viewing presentations and video.

A comfortable hunting hut is also available for those looking for an escape without all the modcons.
