About Rezpect Dance Academy was founded in December 2010 to inspire & encourage people through hip hop dance. It is the first of its kind in the Hawkes Bay. Story The desire of the Academy is to bring hope & to place high expectations for the future into those it mentors. Expanding the borders of dance and free expression; having fun while working hard & building good character. We strive to make our performances entertaining, fun and at a high standard of excellence. We are fully equipped & willing to train groups, run workshops and teach the foundations of hip hop and choreography to those interested in having us tutor. The Academy performs at a wide variety of events including community based events, full scale concerts & small private functions; anywhere where we are able to share our love for dance with others. We are always looking for more performance opportunities. The level at which our dance teams are taught, teaches & performs at is one that seeks excellence that can only be accomplished through commitment, passion, determination & hard work.
