About Waikato's main Seido Karate Dojo dedicated to training new & current martial arts students. 6th Dan Black Belt Michael McIvor has run the dojo since 1980. Seido Karate Te Awamutu is located at 350 Bond Road, Te Awamutu. Story Seido Karate is a traditional Japanese style of martial art founded by Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura in 1976. Seido Karate has a strong focus on developing & improving individuals physical & mental health & wellbeing. Seido Karate was first started in Te Awamutu in 1980 by Sei Shihan Michael McIvor (6th Dan Black Belt), The club has helped produce a solid list of Black Belts over the past 37 years & stays dedicated towards improving the fitness & confidence of all it's students. All past & new members are welcome to make contact about training. Class timetable: Tuesdays - 6.30 - 7.30pm (General Class) Thursdays - 6.30 - 7.30pm (General Class) 7.30 - 8pm (Black Belts)
