About Kainga Aroha is a place offering support to anyone in our community who needs it. We do this through family support, counselling, budgeting, holiday camp Story We have a number of helpers who can offer support in a number of areas Counselling - includes issues such as relationship, anger, grief, depression, self esteem,childhood trauma, domestic violence Budget Advice - assistance with dealing with debt management, working out a realistic cash flow budget and will advocate with creditors if necessary Family Support - assistance with a wide range of issues such as parenting, dealing with government agencies self confidence and other ways of developing your strength Mission - Be a meeting place for people of all cultures, all backgrounds, all ages, both sexes. - Provide an accessible source of information, help, understanding and support. - Offer friendship and hospitality, a neutral meeting place, counselling, training, and children's programmes.
