About Welcome to Brackendell Boarding Kennels and Cattery , ensuring exercise, soicalisation and fun in a safe rural environment Story Dogs have all day access to large out door areas. Sociable dogs of similar age / size play together. Large and medium sized dogs also receive daily supervised exercise in secure paddock areas. We exercise dogs either in groups or individually, depending on their temperament / age. Dogs have individual indoor kennels (dogs from the same family can be placed together by request). You are welcome to bring blankets or toys from home to help your pet settle (no bean bags please). Our cattery has large individual cages for cats (cats from the same family can be placed together by request) We feed Royal Canin dry food morning and night. All pets must be up to date with vaccinations, this includes the Kennel Cough Vaccination for dogs. We have a two week stand down from the date of Vaccination. Inspections are welcome (by appointment please) Brackendell Boarding Kennels & Cattery has been in Pirongia for over 45 years, we took over the business in June 2009. We have three German Shepherds and one cat of our own. We regularly foster for the German Shepherd Rescue Trust and help out other pet rescue organisations as we are able. We are committed to ensuring your pet has the boarding experience we would want for our own pets.
