About Showgrounds Hawke's Bay is a large event complex with a wide range of venues, facilities and lake side gardens situated on 100 acres in central Hastings. Story Showgrounds Hawke's Bay is an incredibly flexible venue. Owned by the Hawke's Bay A&P Society, the Showgrounds hosts events such as: New Zealand's Horse of the Year The Annual Hawke's Bay A&P Show Hawke's Bay A&P Bayleys Wine Awards Fiesta of Lights Hawke's Bay Farmers Market Our grounds are perfectly set-up to cater for: Lakeside Marquee Weddings Sports Training and Club events Catering for very large gatherings requiring: Large Marquee set ups School and Family Reunions Equestrian Events Concerts (indoor and outdoor) Mega Sales Situated right on the edge of Hastings City, accommodation is close by and travel to and from the cities of both Napier and Hastings is effortless. The Showgrounds are blessed with plenty of space with a huge variety of spaces and facilities on offer. We have rooms to hire for less than 100 people, Exhibtion Hall for dinners up to 450 and space for large scale trade events, sports events, weddings or unique 'rustic' events.
