About A miniature railway in the sunny Hawkes Bay town of Havelock North. Story The Keirunga Park Railway is a popular 846 metre track operated by the Havelock North Live Steamers Club. The track winds its way around Keirunga Park, through tunnels, over viaducts and around scenic rock faces. Keirunga is rated in the top 5 best miniature railway tracks in the world. The railway is open on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. Operating Hours: 11 am - 4 pm. Rides are just $2.00 per person, and a 12-trip ticket is $15.00. Cash only. No EFTPOS available. Come along for a great day out with the family, bring a picnic, and have a ride on our club and visiting steam, diesel and electric locomotives.
