About Artisan breads created for your pleasure and good health Story We are artisan bread makers based at Mt Maunganui, in the Bay of Plenty. We use quality organic ingredients to bring you bread that is free from chemicals, additives or artificial flavours. All our breads are 'slow-rise' breads. Our sourdough bread is fermented over 36 hours, slowly and naturally, using traditional methods and our special recipes. This slow-rise fermentation harnesses the nutrition within organic grains, cereals, seeds and olive oil. Our leaven gradually transforms our dough into vitally nutritious, sensational food. Flaveur bread lowers the glycemic index and raises levels of folate, making the gluten digestible and the nutrients more available. Flaveur breads are also available to buy at the following local Markets. Weekly Saturday: Tauranga Market - Taurange Primary School. 8am – 12pm. Sunday: Mount Maunganui Market - Mainstreet Carpark. 9am – 1pm. Monthly First Saturday: The Little Big Market - Zespri Mt Maunganui. 9am - 3pm. First Saturday: Ohope Craft Market - Ohope Sports Ground. 8am - 12pm. Second Saturday: Moggies Market - Katikati Memorial Hall. 8am-12pm. We use locally sourced ingredients where possible, organic flours in our breads, organic milk in our Allpress coffees. We love bringing quality, delicious products to you, our valued customers."
