FOSTER A DOG AND SAVE A LIFE! Second Chance Dog Rescue is a Christchurch based organisation and we are looking for loving foster homes to place our dogs/puppies into while they find their forever homes! Our dogs are either private rescues that are either abandoned or neglected and we also get dogs/puppies from the pound. Most dogs that we take in aren't desexed or vaccinated so if you wish to foster your dog must be up to date with their vaccination. We will only place a dog/puppy in your care that you are comfortable with and feel you can manage. Puppies and some adult dogs require daytime company so wouldn't be suited to full time working families. We require homes that have solid 6ft fencing (negotiable for smaller dogs or puppies) and written permission from your landlord or tenancy agreement stating you are allowed dogs on the property (Please note a property visit may be carried out by one of our team members) Other than that we just need loving, safe and stable foster homes to help start the dog or pup get used to the family environment so we can advertise and rehome them. All vet care bedding and food is provided (or you can choose to donate to us by supplying your own food) If you are interested in being a foster for one of our dogs/puppies please contact me on 0277227838 by call or txt or private message Charlotte Koppes admin. PLEASE NOTE: While we support all other rescue organisations, we operate as an independent rescue.
