About I work with people of all ages to achieve better health, vitality and happiness using Acupuncture & Qigong. Story Acupuncture helps balance and harmonise the flow of life force energy within your body in order to energise, heal and uplift. All health conditions are rooted in an imbalance of Qi (life force). Qi can get blocked, there might not be enough of it or it might have an unhealthy quality. My name is Rachel Maguire and I specialise in Acupuncture, teaching Qigong and healing from The Longhouse, Blenheim, Marlborough, NZ. I offer holistic and natural treatments that stimulate your body's healing response. I work with people of all ages, including pregnant women and children. I have 35 years experience in the health profession, am a member of the NZ Register of Acupuncturists (ACC Treatment Provider), a certified Qigong Instructor and was a Registered Nurse before choosing a career in alternative medicine.
