About Designer Maker of fine fitted and free standing Furniture, Antique restoration. Story Karl Griggs Bespoke furniture is a small family business based in the beautiful wine producing area of Marlborough New Zealand. After finishing a five year apprenticeship in cabinet making and antique restoration, set in the well - known Constable Country {Clare} Suffolk in the United Kingdom. Karl has worked on some special items for the London interior designers, the film industry and top stores in London. Following twenty years of a successful business in England, Karl and his family decided to pursue their dreams and move to New Zealand. We are now enjoying the relaxed lifestyle that the Marlborough sunshine has to offer. Along with meeting new people and some very interesting commissions that come our way. Karl is a true craftsman and our work is of the highest quality and great care is taken to each treasured project.
