About I have created this page to help horse riders learn how to cope with training young horses and become more effective riders in the process. Story When I started this FB promotion I wanted to show riders that it was possible to train their own young horses if I could raise their understanding of what was needed. Believe me, possibly the most satisfying achievement you can have when working with horses is to start your own horse from scratch and take it to the limit of its ability. I started writing this book Educating Horses back in 2005. It is a sequel to my first book 'Horsebreaking' (unfortunate word!) that I wrote in 1964. I have added chapters that will be of interest and help: I have always tried to teach an 'effective' style of riding and two chapters deal with this aspect.
