About Rabbit Island Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee roaster and brew bar located on the historic Mapua Wharf. We sell coffee beans, make hand-brewed coffee. Story We are coffee roasters. We are so excited to bring what we do to the small coastal village of Mapua, approx. 30 km out of Nelson, New Zealand. Our roster of choice is a beautiful new IR12 Deidrich coffee roaster recently imported from US. We take our coffee very seriously and apply the latest specialty coffee skills and techniques, using science principles and our sense of taste to guide us in making delicious coffee beverages.
