About http://motueka.statecinemas.co.nz State Cinema Motueka is a modern, fully-equipped 35mm projection equipped cinema, showing the latest movies in 2D and by the end of 2012 in 3D with the latest high film rate of 48 frame per-second. Story Our spacious, air-conditioned auditorium has 97 comfortable seats, tiered for unobstructed viewing, and a superb seven-speaker sound system (DTS, DOLBY ) giving the best reproduction of any cinema in the top of the south. A full JBL Theatre System. Come to the State for excellent service, popcorn, drinks, tasty treats (the best ice creams in town) to see your favorite movies on the big screen.
