About Whangarei Heads Arts Trail Story The Whangarei Heads Atrs Trail runs every year over the Easter weekend open 10am -5pm It's a great opportunity for art lovers and explorers. Up to 40 artists around the Whangarei Heads area open up their studios or exhibit in community venues. Visitors can explore side roads, waterfront, bush and beach enclaves to find the talent living there. Painters, potters, jewellers, printmakers, photographers, bead workers, weavers and sculptors are dotted throughout the area and this is your chance to visit them at their workplace.
