About We Are a co-educational year 7 & 8 Intermediate School. Story At Matamata Intermediate we welcome families and students into a unique environment with opportunities to develop the talents, confidence and independence of emerging adolescents in years 7 and 8. We pride ourselves on having open and effective communication with parents, whanau and the wider community.
