About Whangarei Youth Space is for all young people 12-24 years. It’s a fun, safe space where you can drop-in, hangout, & get support with health & training FREE Story We are a drop-in space, a safe space, a fun space, a positive space, a health space, a learning space, a training space, a supportive space. A space where ALL youth are empowered and given a voice. Come down and check out this amazing place, feel connected and have some fun! All services are free. Mission * To provide an accessible 'community and youth-owned' social space in Whangarei to develop the social and emotional capabilities of young people and increase their engagement and participation. * To increase youth health literacy and improve access and utilisation of health services by young people. * To empower youth to make positive life choices, and 'unlock' new possibilities and life pathways. * To influence positive community attitudes towards young people. * To be leaders in New Zealand in the practice of youth adult partnerships, and share our growing knowledge base. * HAVE FUN, LEARN, GROW, COLLABORATE, SHARE
