About Drift Massage Therapy, luxurious Massages in a private environment. Drift is a women only clinic specialising in pre-natal massage and women’s wellness. Story Welcome to Drift Massage Therapy! A little bit about me… My name is Shelley Smith I am the owner of Drift Massage. I first studied Therapeutic massage in 1994 in Hamilton New Zealand. I then worked in various chiropractor clinics, Physio clinics and massaged at multi-sport events such as triathlons etc.… for a few years before heading overseas. I settled in London, England. Where I taught Massage, Skin analysis and the mind-body connection throughout the UK, America and Europe, while working with a globally renowned Skin specialist and Homeopath in a high end women only clinic. During this time I have studied many other therapies such as Aromatherapy, Lymphatic drainage, Acupressure, Holistic massage, Beauty therapy and more. I travelled extensively around the world learning different massage techniques from various cultures. Upon my return from over sea’s I extended my health knowledge while training as a dispensary technician. In this role I learnt how pharmaceuticals and natural therapies complement each other. I am a great believer in women supporting women and by doing this enabling us all to thrive. My Drift Lymphatic/Acupressure massage is a culmination of many techniques I have learnt, to combine into a truly rejuvenating massage. With water and heat being an integral part to healing the body I also offer the Drift Hot Stone Massage which will help melt away tension as the warm stones glide across your muscles.
