About Midwifery service, having access agreements with: Lumsden Maternity Winton Maternity Southland Hospital Homebirth Story Jo was born in New Zealand in the late 1960s in a small rural birth unit (Otaki). She was married in 1996, and gave birth to her first son in 1997. It was after his birth the seed was sown to become a midwife. She had two more babies in 1999 and 2001, then I began her midwife journey in 2002, graduating in 2005. "To support and love women and their family through their pregnancy, birth and early post natal weeks is such a privilege.
