Welcome to the Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track. The Hump Ridge Track is a 3 day loop walk that takes trampers through South West Fiordland National Park,a World Heritage area of New Zealand. First you hike up to the sub-alpine zone of the Hump Ridge for your stay at our Lodge in the sky,Okaka Lodge with 360 degree views of Southland and South west Fiordland. Then down to the South Coast to see the impressive,historic viaducts in the heart of the native forest and finally a refreshing swim with the very rare Hectors dolphins at Port Craig.  Our two backcountry lodges are in superb locations with showers,a shop and a licensed bar! The Hump Ridge Track offers a unique hiking experience like no other in New Zealand and is waiting for you!
